WUDAOKOU PARK

This site is located in the long beach near Terminal Freeway. The main vision of the project is to turned the freeway from barrier to benefit. The proposed plan will change the freeway to an urban agriculture. The horticultural based landscape have orchard, vineyard, community gardens help provide fresh food for the cThis site is located near the Wudaokou commercial center and was near the trail- one of the symbol of the site. In this project we were supposed to use Chinese traditional landscape architecture design style to create a civic park for residents in the district and also visitors. Waterfront and mountain are designed to connect the parts of sites. A successful collaboration among students in a team project needs rational communications and proper work assignments so as to sufficiently bring out students’ potential and apply them to the right place.
